Our camping group goes there for lunch every year on Derby Day. Some of us go particularly for the breaded and deep-fried bullheads. The meal comes with a cup of chowder, fries and coleslaw. What Light Sojourner doesn't like about Village:
Maybe it was due to us coming in right before the kitchen changed from breakfast to the lunch menu.... but wow our Omelet FELT ....rubbery? It was weird like the eggs were weird. It tasted different as well. If you check my reviews you will read and see many Western/Denver Omelets ...mostly as it is hard to mess them up. Great place to have breakfast. Servers are attentive and friendly.
A great little diner, the food came quick, was delicious and the waitress was awesome!
Food and customer service are great!! Inside could use a small amount of maintenance or upgrades but hey, i guess that's not as important!!
Large menu selection. We had a burger and grilled cheese. Both were very good. Service was excellent.
Friendly, local people, good variety on the menu and a second cup of hot tea offered.
