But our main gripe is that the waiter/landlord was wearing t-shirt and shorts which displayed his bottom every time he bent over. We will not be visiting again

However, a last-minute change of plans for the first... read more This is not a pub I would normally go to, as I have heard mixed reviews and never bothered to check it out. However, a last-minute change of plans for the first World Cup match led my friends and I to this establishment. I am glad we ended up here, as they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. The atmosphere was fantastic, with the pub being busy and the football on. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times and could have used an extra hand or two. The food was decent and served its purpose as a snack during the football games. We ended up watching the rest of the England games and the final here. This will now be our go-to spot for sports events and beer-fueled gatherings.
