The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. My favorite appetizer is the grilled fish, although it is a bit spicy. The king prawn starter is also very good. We ordered the chicken stew in coconut sauce for our main dish, which may not be the best choice for those who prefer stronger flavors as it is quite mild. The starters were amazing in comparison to the main dish. However, considering the price, this meal is definitely worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 5 out of 5.

This is a really great place to taste authentic food from the south indiens. I had sea bass with marinated garnel and his best plate I've ever eaten. are also very good! the appams were the best I cost. service was excellent and no request was too much for the team at kayal. I am definitiw back and cannot recommend it enough.

The food at Kayal, an authentic South Indian restaurant, is excellent. I had been craving fish for a long time and I was not disappointed with the fish curry - it was absolutely amazing. The combination with appam was fantastic, and the prawns were also very good. The fish biryani was tasty. The ambience is friendly and inviting, and the staff is very nice. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

So a wonderful evening in an absolutely authentic kerala restaurant with delicious appam and stew, that is not so common in mumbai! ananas kesari was an absolute joy, not to mention a great selection of weeps. the chef came to chat with us, a waiter, jill, was exceptional.
