What Dave0009 doesn't like about Marciano Lounge:
A very busy cafe/restaurant. A good sign. Our cooked breakfasts were quite good quality but there are better. Coffees good. Service friendly and quite efficient. Pity that coffee arrived after the food. Prices on web need updating. OK place. View all feedback.
This café/restaurant is bustling with customers, which is always a positive sign. Our cooked breakfasts were of decent quality, although we have had better elsewhere. The coffee was good, and the service was friendly and quite prompt. The prices were average. Overall, it is an okay place to dine.
My first visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. We were not asked if we had been there before and had to wait 25 minutes for someone to take our order, only to be informed that orders had to be placed and paid for online. We were then given a QR code hidden among other papers on the table. We ordered drinks, tapas as a group starter, and mains, but everything arrived at once, making it difficult to find space on the table. One of the mains was missing because it hadn't been captured on the website, and one of the tapas dishes from the online order never made it to our table. The tapas and burgers were good, but the mains that did arrive - the lamb curry and bang bang chicken - had an overpowering vinegar taste, and the Nasi Goreng was mostly rice. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. If you do decide to go, stick to ordering tapas and burgers and avoid going on Saturdays. The decor, however, was nice.
I came here with friends on a Saturday evening after dining elsewhere. The unique decor, friendly service, and laid-back atmosphere made it a refreshing alternative to the crowded and noisy pubs in Woking. I would definitely return.
We were immediately impressed by the fact that they asked us if our request for gluten-free food was due to celiac disease. We were provided with separate plates for our gluten-free dishes to prevent cross-contamination. Initially, there was no table available for our party of six, but they graciously seated us at a reserved table with the understanding that we needed to eat at a specific time or be willing to move to another table when one became available. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.
Been here several times and would highly recommend. Staff are always friendly and nothing is too much. Had lunch and dinner here and food is consistently good and reasonable good valued. It is always busy regardless of what day you come and it is nice for drinks only or food and drinks it is really up to you. It is one of my favourite places to come to in Woking and has been for some time. Never disappointed and always go away saying see you again. Good choice of food and drink to choose from. Also they cater for all needs including gluten free and vegan. If you go here you won’t be disappointed.
