Excellent evening 5th November. We had been invited to join in Birthday Celebrations with a good friend. Our first visit, although we live out of the area will be happy in future to travel to this restaurant. I have a feeling we will become regulars. What Peter Sainsbury doesn't like about Blue India Chobham:
Had all the family round so decided to order a takeaway from the Blue India for the first time. Ordered the meal at 6.20 and finally arrived at 8.20 after numerous phone calls and being told they were really busy and and that it had left ‘5 mins’ ago three times over half an hour. Good food and service . but we were not asked if we wanted any starters as though Poppadoms were the only thing on offer. other dishes appeared during the main meal we had not ordered. when it came to paying there was no itemised bill as you would normally expect the waiter just had a paper with his own abbreviations. it was difficult to check what you were being charged for. shame because it was a blot on the nice food and service.
