We were waiting for the food but no one even came to take the order, we had to go to the cash counter to get the menu by ourselves. I would not recommend if you are hungry.

I had to go find menus for us (we were 4 adults and 2 kids) I had to hunt down a waiter in order to get served, since there are only 4 waiters in the whole place (at first we were waiving at them but they never came) we were waiting 25 minutes to get served after we finally ordered, the waiter brought the drinks but didn’t put them on the table and passed them to me so I would serve us the food was like usual, but the service was horrible

Refused breastfeeding, we preferred to leave the place. Over years I visited many countries with various customs and did my best to respect local values. I ate in a wide range of restaurants of various standing, including upper class or traditional places. After French 3 star restaurants, British formal diners, Japanese local restaurants, etc... I was only asked to change my behaviour in one place: this small food place in Karlsruhe! Whilst waiting for our orders (and it took a looooong time), my wife had to breastfeed our 3 month old baby. Needless to say, my wife does her best not showing too much in this process. Breastfeeding is kind of well accepted in Germany, even if older or conservative people are sometimes shocked and would prefer mothers to stay home until their kid is able to order it's own food at a drivin. Seems like a customer quietly complained to a waitress, who immediately relayed the demand of being more discrete with breastfeeding. If no one can control the values and demands of his customers, staff has the freedom to enforce their demands or not. They made their choice. As it was difficult to be more discrete than what we did already, we preferred to leave the place. We crossed the street to go back to our good old Lehners, to enjoy actual cooking and respectful service. No one complained there. Neither in the tens of other places we visited in Karlsruhe or Germany. Ciao Alex ;

The place is beautiful. o do not know that there is a door that can be used from outside. it is in a shopping center (I guess that was a shopping center) so we spent some time to find the place. the menu has many options. I chose ribeye steak with salat. the steak was delicious, as medium nicely cooked, but it has less fat than an ordinary ribeye steak. I guess ı will try different things again. I liked the place.

I love breakfast here. very good buffet with delicious dresses.
