Cava is one of my go-to spots for delicious and affordable food. I usually order takeout and while the restaurant ambiance is a bit noisy, I prefer enjoying my meal with my family at home. My favorite dish is the Harissa Avocado bowl, which I like to make extra spicy with added harissa. I recommend using their app and signing up for an account, as it makes reordering easy and their rewards system gives roughly 10% ba... View all feedback.
What Chris Ward doesn't like about Cava:
Strike 3. The food really is great but they are so disorganized and clearly the workers don't care about the product. Such a shame. I've ordered take out 3 times now and I've waited at least 15 minutes and up to 30 minutes after the time they said it'd be ready. They focus on the walkins who get served immediately. They also canceled a group order one time without contacting me. When I called they didn't care at all,... View all feedback.
High quality food, very fresh and tasteful. but they forgot an ingredient in my bowl and it was quite disappointing when I paid almost 12$. but would give them another shot.
Order from here regularly. Spent over $50 on a delivery order this evening of 2 bowls and a handful of sides. Not a single side came, and both bowls were not correct. I tried calling several times and employees simply let the phone ring for over 20 minutes.
Avoid this place like the plague. I never thought this day would come, but I am now one of those If I could give 0 stars I would people.Recap of our mobile order experience We ordered 4 bowls (1 for a vegetarian who can't be in the same room as chicken) Had to wait 15 minutes after the scheduled time for our food Paid $3 extra for pita bread which they did not include Only included 3 of the 4 dressings from the order Somehow ended up with 5 bowls. Sorry Michael, I hope you didn't go hungry last night One bowl was completely incorrect (wrong meat, dressing, veggies). If you are looking for a create your own bowl experience, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to Sweet Green or go right next door to Qdoba. Stand up for yourself, don't waste your hard earned money on a place that doesn't care about their customers.
I am a regular at CAVA on Cambridge this specific store needs major help. The staff are unsanitary. The person making the bowls and pitas was using her personal cellphone with gloved hands then directly touching the food without changing gloves. The rice was not cooked all the way/crunchy chicken was burnt. One of the workers was upset about a raise and planning to quit so the line stalled out. The counter where they were making the food was dirty and tables were filthy. This place could use a deep cleaning. Staff needs training they couldn’t handle a 6 person line.
There were three servers trying to serve an endless line of people and make Door Dash orders. Each bowl is customized for no charge so it takes time to make. My Greek salad with Harisssa chicken was delicious. The bowls are standard size. The prices are comparable to SweetGreen or B. Good and you get what you want. Like most places post-pandemic, they are short staffed and it shows in the line length. The falafel looked delicious. The whipped feta was good.
