Th... read more I traveled a distance to visit this restaurant, where I had previously enjoyed breakfast and the atmosphere. However, I was extremely disappointed this time. The server was wearing gloves, but they looked like winter gloves and one finger was cut. They appeared to be made of cotton, which can easily absorb and transfer bacteria onto plates. It seems unlikely that the server washed their hands while wearing these gloves all day. I had to ask twice for a coffee refill before finally receiving one. The food was okay, but it was difficult to enjoy due to the issues with the service.

Two of us ended up vomiting all day and into the night. It was a terrible experience overall. I used to go to Bickford's in Burlington with my granddaughter and her grandmother, Cheryl. Rest in peace Cheryl, we love you.
