Amazing Sunday roast! Came here today with my mum who is local to the area and I’m so impressed! All the staff were lovely and accommodating as soon as you walk in the door and throughout our visit. We both had the Sunday roast, one ham one beef and oh wow was it good! You get a huge portion size and the food quality is 10/10. I've eaten several times at The George and really rate the food, the atmosphere and the welcome. The portions are generous and the quality and freshness are top drawer, which is why I keep coming back. The service occasionally falls down slightly, but in an amusing way and I guess the girls' age and experience of life will put that right in time. Highly recommended! Food: 5
