I will lead with our initial excitement to return to this restaurant was high, because we enjoy the food here from past experience. However, the Mother's Day Buffay style food was less than expected. Perhaps it was because it was already 1 PM, but there were slim pickings And other details such as lack of plates, labels on food to warn those with allergies or even to list what it was that we were eating – for example, having meatball like food right next to the pasta dish but yet it was breaded crab meat ... a label would have been great. Also, I did not appreciate the main hostess (blonde hair) not concerned with seating my party of three in a timely manner, because she allowed two other parties, who came in after us, to seat before us, as if we did not matter. Anyways, my wife and I will remember the good times we've had here in the past and leave it at that. One of my sons is graduating in the next few weeks, and we were going to eat here after his commencement, but we have now changed our venue due to this experience.
We celebrated my youngest's 13th birthday, and she loves the calamari! We tried the crudo for the first time, and it was amazing. The diver scallops were cooked to perfection. My spouse and I shared the filet, which was incredibly tender, just like butter. For dessert, the family enjoyed the chocolate cake. It was a delightful evening!
My boyfriend and I had prom last night and went out for dinner before. Martin was extremely kind and helpful, and made our experience delightful! The crème brûlée was also one of the best desserts i’ve had.
Great service but food was not worthy of the bill! Limp lettuce maybe even out of a precut bag. Calamari very mediocre. The wine we ordered was very good. Meals ok. Way overpriced. This is casual dining at fine dining prices.
We were able to snag a seat at the bar without a reservation! There was a 2-hour wait otherwise, so make a reservation if you’re able to!We started with the Capesante, it was delicious though we wish there was maybe one more scallop. Next, we had the wedge and it was HUGE! It could’ve used a little more bacon but there were plenty of other toppings. This was basically and entire head of lettuce! For our main courses we had the Prosciutto and the Filetto. The steak was succulent, the zip sauce was savory, and every single bite was as delicious as the first. The broccolini and fingerling potatoes were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The sage dough on the Prosciutto dish was so tasty, dipped in the zip sauce was just delightful. We are looking forward to eating here again and trying even more from the menu.
