Family run business. Parking is good. Always book in advance! Great value for money. Good for kids and groups. Schneider Weiss Bier! A small area for outside dining by good weather, with a covered area. View all feedback.

I came here for a thirst quenching stop while walking by the Sitter River and the forest. I don't think I would have come here had I not been walking past and needing a drink...it doesn't look that great from the exterior. The actual restaurant was quite busy surprisingly, and the food did look tasty, if not a little 'truck stop-y'. I can't comment on the taste or quality of the food as we just had drinks. We were there for business dinners for countless times. Call in to get a reservation is highly recommended. Food is really good and the service super friendly! Visit of the Schnitzel King

Service was very efficient and the staff were friendly. Toilets adequate and clean. It was nice enough but will probably only come back under the same circumstances a hot day and thirsty!
To try the 120 bus from an evening station – a 10-minute drive, plus a 3-minute walk – this recommended restaurant. My wife and I ordered Schnitzel, and they were all right. The beers were good. Forewarned: the middle carvings are large; They would have to be really hungry, and not in the rush to polish the biggest (called elephant ears in German). The ambience of the restaurant definitely spoke in house style, and that is how it felt. Very friendly staff.
It's definitely not the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been. But the chips they bake are really good. You have the choice of a mäuseohr (the smallest, mouse ear) donelsohr (the middle, donky ear) elefantenohr (the largest, elephant ear). The staff is very friendly. Book a table is recommended.
