Contribute Feedback What Christine H doesn't like about Coachman Steakhouse Lounge:
It can be fun (or terrifying) to stop at restaurants like this in very small towns. This is a family friendly place which on a Saturday night had a steady stream of business. The food was average and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the menu- pretty good selection. I would maybe avoid the salad bar though....We ordered burgers and a taco salad for me. We didn't have high expectations so we were satisfied.... View all feedback.
Very nice people! Watching high school bowling ordered a few things off the menu! Good tasting home cooked meals a good price!
Food very blah no seasoning. Bowling was fun for the kids.
I grew up in Wisner and remember the bowling alley as the happening place. I've eaten here off and on thru the years and this restaurant has been in steady decline. I ate here recently, not expecting a lot, and it was even worse than I expected. We (a party of four) arrived at 6:30. There were already 6 people who were eating in the bar; no one came in after us. I got the pulled pork sandwich. It took FOREVER to get our food. My bun was soggy and the sauce over the pork was very sweet. The others at my table had the broasted chicken; 2 people thought it was okay, the 3rd diner said her chicken was not warm. I believe they screwed up some of the chicken and my pork sandwich and the other chicken order waited while they re-cooked the messed up orders. We finally left the restaurant 1 1/2 hours after entering and we were the only people they had to cook for! Wisner has added some nice, new restaurants recently. Wake up Coachmen, or your life will be short lived. I would NOT suggest stopping here.

Might want to avoid the bathroom unless you enjoy a shower curtain as a stall door (no joke) but it only adds to the ambiance of the place. Oh and be sure to check out the back wall which houses photos of local students, business leaders, etc.
For the love of god, just keep driving. I don't care how hungry you are...do not stop here; you can make it to the next town. I can't even bring myself to give details...I'll become both angry and nauseous. I do grant them one star for having a bowling alley.
