Kilbourn City Grill - WISCONSIN DELLS

Thanksgiving buffet. it was good eating and the service was ok. had 4:30 reserved, took 15 minutes to get space. Lots when choosing food, desserts etc. overall it was ok.

Waits for almost half an hour for our reservation, which is not to be managed with young children! the service was over slow (see 25 minutes for a glass wine). the food was wrong (the spaghetti ordered with meatballs forgot the meatballs, then we didn't even get them until we were finished with our meal and they just sent a small bowl with coarse naked meatballs, no sauce or anything to help the presentation). other meals were best moderate. our bill for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) with 1 glass wein and 1 beer was $100. I couldn't believe what a terrible experience we had. but it is the only place to dinner in the hotel (except the famous chiffelhaus), so we had no choice. go somewhere else, but here, seriously, here, don't waste your money.

My daughter was given by the food even after the handover sick, 2 meals were forgotten, then a little later, and all the food was cold. also the staff was rude

That was not the standard for which this restaurant was known, the server zoran? even had to be found by me to get the leak. we sat there waiting for quite a help, I found him near the front who played on his phone.

Our waitress was so nice and made the evening tolerable. I get that it's a resort but the food was luke warm and devoid of flavor. My NY strip was mushy and you can tell nothing is fresh. It's worth the 15 minute drive into town.
