A hidden gem in plain sight. Very big portion sizes. We always box our leftovers for later. Excellent food. Friendly service from a literal Family Restaurant. This was our second visit to Edytka's. We have had excellent food both times. The owners and staff are friendly and the food comes out quickly. If you are looking for authentic Polish food, this is the place!
If you 're looking for something different in the food area, this restaurant is for you. My wife and I had just returned from Poland and found that the cuisine here was truly a 'Polish Delight '. The portions are so large that you 'll have trouble finishing your meal. Don 't miss this experience!!!
This restaurant is a hidden gem that’s easy to overlook. The portion sizes are generous, and we often take home leftovers. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly, reflecting the family-oriented atmosphere. Edith's Special is a delicious selection of various dishes. Although I'm not a fan of soup, I can confidently say that you can't go wrong with any of the Polish dishes offered here. For those with picky eaters, there are standard summer options available on the menu. Just a heads up: during tourist season, it can be a bit challenging to hear when placing your order due to the music speaker near the counter.
The restaurant offers authentic Polish cuisine. The cabbage rolls are fantastic, and the potato and cheese pierogies are delicious. The Polish hot dog is quite large. Plus, the prices are reasonable.
We ordered a serving of pierogies (half meat and half cheese) and a plate of potato pancakes, which turned out to be quite a feast. Everything was incredible. One person in our group, who usually avoids potatoes, ended up trying the potato pancake and loved it. The restaurant is a cozy, family-run establishment, which is a breath of fresh air amidst the hustle and bustle of the Dells, and you can really taste the care they put into their handmade dishes. My only regret is that we had indulged in so much junk food earlier in the Dells that we didn’t have room for more of their delicious offerings. If you find yourself nearby, I highly recommend stopping in to eat!
