we often go to rest for a family dinner and are rarely disappointed. the last time we went, these new years eve, which was awfully busy and the service was less standard, although this should be expected in such a busy night. the staff was still pleasant, and the food was still fantastic. just one of the best curry houses on the swirl. What Raycheltasarov doesn't like about The Ruhi Balti House:
I visited the restaurant on a Friday night without a reservation, arriving at 9:15 pm. There was only one other table occupied by four people, and the rest of the restaurant was empty, which was surprising. Upon entering, we were informed that we needed to order quickly because the kitchen was closing soon. This was unexpected as it was still early in the evening on a Friday. I ordered a curry, rice, and naan bread,... View all feedback.

Without doubt the best balti house on the Wirral large food great service and very cheap prices and they can take their own beer and wein and they just calculate them a cork price
It is always excellent, we go every Christmas day, the staff are always so kind and are always willing to help you. There is a wide variation on the menu and there is surely something for everyone. On Christmas day there is always an option for a normal Christmas dinner as well if that is what someone would like to have instead of the Indian food. The food is always made very quickly and the staff treat you very well. It is great and I recommend it
Went for my birthday and because it’s been good in the past I chose the ruhi . The alarm bells sounded at the poppadoms which arrived about 30 seconds after we ordered. They’d been cooked in the morning or the day before and were literally flaccid. The dips were awful and the ‘mango chutney’ if I can call it that was terrible like watered down jam. Where have you ever had a limp poppadom? It’s so easy to get right. Starters took about an hour to arrive and the meat on the mix kebab was so shrunk it had clearly been made days before, the lamb cubes didn’t even taste of meat. Mains took more than another hour, daughter had lamb tikka masala, was 6 cubes of precooked tasteless lamb in a boat of premade sauce, mrs had garlic chilli lamb, was the only dish that tasted nice but again the meat was shocking. I had chicken chilli fry, two mouthfuls sent it back, never ever done that in my entire life. Son had ruhi special starter, literally a one egg omelette with a few cubes of precooked meat and a teaspoon of pre-grated cheddar. It was an absolute mess and to name it your special starter is a joke. Pilau rice was bone dry as were the chips, definitely been on the hot plate all day. Naan was fresh and tasty but the size of a child’s pizza. Terrible experience and the first time I didn’t tip in near 40 years of eating out. Complained to the waiter but he really couldn’t have cared less. Just awful. Don’t go. Spend your money somewhere that values your custom.
