Tranmere has always had several takeaways bit what a disappointment when Sunwah closed. But they are back open and still to the same amazing standard. I opted for the salt and pepper Munchie box a selection of salt and pepper chips, chichen, chichen wings, ribs and a can of pop all for the princley sum of £8.50 but it was enough for 2. Didn't want to use this place again but thought I'd give it one more try. Ordered special fried rice £6.30. Got dish of brown rice, not a prawn in sight and four pieces of dried meat on top! Thrown at me as usual as next customer waiting. Will never go again. Can have decent meal in pub with waiter service for what this cost.! View all feedback.
I pre-ordered a meal for delivery at 8pm, but it arrived at 7:20pm and was stone cold. The special fried rice only had a few pieces of meat on top, and the chips were dried out and brown. I would not order from this restaurant again.
I decided to indulge in some fish and chips and decided to give Sun Wah in Prenton a try. It was a mistake. The fish was filled with bones after just a few bites and the chips were a unappetizing brown color and tasted like oil. It seemed like they were leftover from earlier and reheated. I also ordered a chicken portion to meet the minimum order requirement and it was extremely dry. I will not be ordering from this takeaway again.
I ordered the special fried rice, and while the food was decent, it didn't quite live up to its name. There was no egg in it, just a small piece of chicken on top about the size of a 50p coin, and two pieces of pork, each the same size. Overall, for the price, I've had better special fried rice elsewhere.

The owners of this chip shop are about as criminal as it gets. They always charge more than they are supposed to and when you call them on it the play dumb as if it was a mistake you don’t get prices wrong like that on every visit unless it’s on purpose. When I say prices wrong I mean adding from between £0.50 to £2 depending what they think they can get away with at the time. Not only this my niece being despite for work asked for a job, they brought her on and told her as she needs tracing she is required to work for FREE for the first week and when the week was up they told her she still needs more training so made her work another week for FREE. After that they told her they had no work for her and let her go. Then the brought on another young girl around age 16 and after 2 weeks she was never seen again. I can only guess they did the same thing to that poor girl.
