Ate a Ham and Cheese Sandwich with a pint of Guinness for my lunch. Overall if you like pubs you will like it here also handy for parties as there was one in the function room going on while we were eating. Not easy to get to on the train I am afraid as it is a good walk from the nearest train station. View all feedback.
What susienicholls doesn't like about Horse Jockey:
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for celebrating an afternoon together. We attended a baby shower and initially found the room a bit cold. The toilets were clean and in good condition, but there was only one server at the bar so it took some time to get our drinks. View all feedback.
We hadn't been to this pub in a long time, but we were pleasantly surprised during our most recent visit. The interior is nicely decorated and they offer affordable pub food. The staff is friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit!
After being closed for 6 months, the restaurant has reopened with delicious food, welcoming staff, and a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. It's a fantastic place to dine and worth a visit.
I went to watch the football Saturday afternoon, a clean traditional pub, decent decor, the local feel to it.
My wife and I just tried the new menu , delicious , pick 5 tapas and get a 6th free for £23 ! which fed the two of us and a bottle of barefoot Sauvignon blanc for £10 ! £33 fed and watered ! Fantastic
Called in for lunch everything was going well until some of the locals in the bar area decided to start coming out foul langage at the top of their voices they were told but carried on.It is a shame as the food and service was very good indeed
