Great view from upstairs across the river watching the ships pass by. Comfortable. The coffee and cake was good and not expensive so dont expect 5star hotel standards people seem to get confused about what a standard is. The staff here are superb and really friendly. A nice simple warm place to be. View all feedback.
What graham198 doesn't like about Floral Pavilion Cafe:
We had visited the book fair felt hungry so decided to have our lunch. The menu was rather misleading as it was out of date. Eventually settled on fish and chips each. Food was ok , not the best we have tasted. Gave the cafe an extra point for the splendid views . Service was quick and friendly. View all feedback.
We sat upstairs, with a great view towards the Mersey and Liverpool docks. The perfect spot to eat lunch. We were somewhat alarmed when we saw the reviews here, but we were already outside the Pacilion and couldn’t see any other option, so decided to give it a go. I’m so glad we did. We had a club sandwich, which was tasty and much better quality than the last one I had in a good hotel in the UK. It was a bit slower to come than ideal. But with such a lovely view from our table, we didn’t mind the wait. Some tables hadn’t been cleared when we sat down. But while we were there they were emptied of plates and cleaned. Toilets are spacious (it’s a theatre) and were very clean. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The disabled will find it’s excellent. A lift to all floors, and nice step free entrance. Our lunch there just made our whole day a little bit better.
We had a meal before the show on Friday night Bowie experience. After reading reviews I was a bit concerned but I have to say we enjoyed it very much. We had soup and mushrooms to start. Both my husband and I had the fish...
Socially distanced so not too much of a vibe, but the staff are helpful and the food is fine. Good for an afternoon stop to refresh the batteris.
So good to see The Floral back open . Difficult times for all venues these days but the staff are as friendly as ever and the attention to cleanliness is excellent with staff and onsite cleaning team taking every care with customer safety.. Not many...
We usually enjoy it here, upstairs used to have a fab outlook, understand why the changes during Covid though. They did clean the tables chairs, but it was really not good to watch staff pet the dogs, let them lick them, then carry on serving!!! Had long drunk our drinks before our toast arrived too, so disappointing.
