this is a real English pub that they feel welcome, friendly and very polite staff. it offers weekly karaoke, monthly band and live music / open microphone evenings. large selection on beer, cheap and the pub is very well maintained and managed by the very friendly renter paddy. Never having been to this pub, I was disgusted to hear that they discriminate against folk with special needs, one special needs lad received a text message informing him that there have been complaints about him his group having bad hygiene advised them to stay away at the moment. I've read several reviews about this pub before writing this review it seems to me the pub has more to worry about than perceived hygiene... View all feedback.
We had a fab time when we visited the lark rise, the staff were very helpful and the manager paddy was as beautiful as his staff, the carabooke on a Saturday night was the highlight of the week, it was brilliant good by paddy everyone got a twist, which sometimes in busy pubs will definitely recommend that they are in the opposite and will definitely go back again.
Great Sports pub , lovely and clean, friendly staff and cheap drinks thats why its full with Students watching football.
My favorite spot for a night out! Paddy and his team are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My friends and I always have a great time when we go there.
GREAT LOTS OF SPACE AND OUTSIDE Area more pricey then weather'spoon but better free jukebox on Thursdays staff are lovely so accomidating and kind I highly recommended this pub very relaxed. And people inside alright. I like the fact they play music unlike weatherspoons with none they also have tvs booths and big tv an pool and games. They also have booths only down side they don't do food only crisps. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20
