Was Daniel Gerow at Alia a mag?
This is a hidden gem off the beach in Winthrop. The food is tasty with a hint of spice that is rarely found in Winthrop. I'm hoping they introduce Moroccan lamb shank one day Dietary restrictions: Owner is very accommodating and will do his best to meet any diner's needs/desires Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair accessible Service: Dine in View all feedback.

Let me keep it concise: I live in Canada but have visited Boston three times in my life. On my first trip, about ten years ago, I stumbled upon a last-minute hotel deal in Winthrop, not realizing it was a bit outside the tourist area of Boston. While looking for a place to eat on Shirley Street, I discovered Alia's. Having spent several months in Italy, I know what authentic pasta should taste like (and it doesn’t have to be in Italy to be good). I settled in and tried what became the best pasta I’ve ever tasted in America. Now, whenever I plan a trip to Boston, dining at Alia’s is my top priority. This place is fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough! While you won’t find traditional Italian music playing or servers in designer clothes, you will enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere, savoring delicious dishes lovingly prepared by Said. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Vegetarian options: If you have any specific requests, just ask Said—he’s more than happy to accommodate!

Honestly the best falafel wrap in the area. The chipotle house mayo alone is worth it. Its my go to!

Although we got carry-out, the food was outstanding. The owner, Sa'id, is very genuine and amicable. We can't wait to dine in and have his full restaurant.
