What User doesn't like about Tavern:
A rough, dingy, diver. If you want a stiff drink to be served in a dirty glass on a sticky bar, you have found your place. Bathroom is a cabinet with a wooden floor, a disassembled sink and a single, permanently hanging towel for everyone. The employees and males seem proud of this size. As Texans, we unexpectedly discovered this fantastic restaurant. Jimmy, along with his cousin, Beth, and Charlie, made us feel right at home. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by! Mention that John and Mary Lou sent you, and they'll treat you like family! It's a wonderful place!
This place is a bit run-down and shabby. If you're looking for a strong drink served in a dirty glass at a sticky bar, this is the spot for you. The bathroom feels more like a closet with a wooden floor, a broken sink, and just one towel that everyone shares. The staff and the regulars seem to take pride in the establishment's state. It's a decent spot to end a night of heavy drinking, but I'd recommend having your shots first and avoiding the food until everything gets a thorough cleaning.
The wait staff is extra friendly and they are patient enough to help with menu selections
Cold beer is good beer but I do feel a bit of racism here.
