Looking through some pictures from other folks, apparently you -can- get something that looks like Mac and cheese here, but on my one and only visit.... I would've rather been handed a cup of off-brand easymac than what we were served. It was just... Edit: I want to believe that my experience was a fluke and that they were just out of their usual quality ingredients. However, first impressions matter, and my second experience—prompted by my review—wasn't exactly reassuring.
I wasn't impressed. I visited a few weeks ago for a BBQ sandwich and some mac and cheese. The sandwich was just average, but the mac and cheese was so unappetizing that I couldn't finish it, and I usually hate to waste food. Even after trying to salvage it with salt and pepper and mixing in some of my BBQ, it was still inedible. The noodles were undercooked and hard, swimming in a watery sauce with no flavor at all. I've had better instant noodles from my microwave!
The pork is tasty, but the prices are just okay. The stew was a bit of a mystery. They were out of beans, and I couldn't buy any buns, which makes me question if this place can really be considered a legitimate BBQ spot.
Highway Robbery. For the amount you pay to the ratio of food you receive in return is horrible.
I'm surprised that they are still in business. Overpriced below average food. Hate to rate a local business poorly but it's my truth.
