Through the old town, which is beautiful, we were hungry, but were looking for something different than a hot lunch in a normal restaurant. we stumbled exactly... read more Through the old town, which is beautiful, we were hungry, but were looking for something different than a hot lunch in a normal restaurant. we stumbled exactly what we needed. we saw the selection of the great salate, the place was full of men, largely. we ordered the focaccia with nasalat, and, understanding focaccia as a little more dry normally, were pleased to have a type focaccia sandwich filled with as we had chosen from a choice) tomatenmozzarella and basilikum pesto, with a generous sidealat and a good amount of dressing again a choice.) this was absolutely ideal for a very hot day, refreshing. we followed with good coffee ice creams. absolutely tasty and in a quiet backwater, quiet and beautiful.

This is really a great place to stop for a beer and some small teller and the coffee is excellent. the short but interesting beer list with local microbrauereie... read more This is really a great place to stop for a beer and some small teller and the coffee is excellent. the short but interesting beer list with local microbrauereien and beer from the famous BFM brewery is a welcome sight for bier lovers who suffer from the abyssous bier landscape of the Swiss same tasteless lagers. the salads are carefully made and the coffee is really good. the service of a group of highly efficient and personable young women is excellent. a good place to stop when passing through the pretty old town part of winterthur.
