I used to visit the fancy café&bar quite often, since the opinion is widely spread in the city that this is the point to be if you want to meet with friends, family etc. for a short sip of coffee. However, I can't support this opinion and with every other time I get dragged into the place, things seem to get confirmed. Cozy place to grab a coffee or smoothies in the old town
This is really a great place to stop for a beer and some small teller and the coffee is excellent. the short but interesting beer list with local microbrauereien and beer from the famous BFM brewery is a welcome sight for bier lovers who suffer from the abyssous bier landscape of the Swiss same tasteless lagers. the salads are carefully made and the coffee is really good. the service of a group of highly efficient and personable young women is excellent. a good place to stop when passing through the pretty old town part of winterthur.
