I would love to give more stars, but for me it was simply not convincing enough compared to other places that have 4 stars. Plus the pizzas are too oily for my taste, although the dough is quite good. Service is friendly. I have yet to try the dessert or ice cream!

The pizzas are really tasty, but there's an ample menu with risottos, salads, meat and pasta dishes too. Something for everyone really. It is right opposite Eulach park and there is outside seating when the weather is good. Also does takeaways and great icecream. He also has another room which is good for private events.

I ordered a simple proscu... read more As Gerry 's Bar is located in the vicinity of Eulach Park. It 's the go to place for the hungry and thirsty spending time in the park. I ordered a simple proscuitto pizza and a Nutella crêpe with ice cream as dessert. The restaurant bar looked a bit... well, nondescript. They could profit from a more exciting interior decoration for a more inviting atmosphere and of course, draw in more customers this way. The pizza was scrumptious with the garlic oil sauce, but I was disappointed that the waitress didn 't serve the crêpe as ordered: with ice cream on the side, NOT before the crêpe. As a result the ice cream was finished off before she brought the crêpe to the table, otherwise I would 've had to eat ice cream soup : (yuck! The crêpe itself was ok, but otherwise entirely forgettable. It was folded in a triangular shape with artfully drizzled Nutella and dollops of whipped cream around the crêpe. I have to say it lacked a certain pizzazz. The dough should have had a slight 'crunch ' to it, instead it was thin, but still too mushy. I 've had better crêpes for that price range. In conclusion, the service of the staff could be improved. The pizza is good and offered at a reasonable price, though I would go somewhere else for a good crêpe if you want the real deal (aka a crisper version . ××× Please consider showing some love by 'liking ' if you found my review helpful. :

Gerry, the owner is a proud-of-his-roots and friendly guy who gladly tells you the source of his ingredients for his famous chili sauce. Prices are reasonable and the service is very efficient.
