Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen delivers a mixed dining experience, marked by mouthwatering seafood but marred by service hiccups. Diners enjoyed standout dishes like raw oysters, the catch of the day, and a delightful selection of desserts, particularly the Key Lime Pie. Yet, delays in food delivery, chaotic service, and issues like insufficient glassware disrupted some visits. While the restaurant shines with its attentive staff and ambiance—especially at the bar—it's clear that managing reservations during peak hours remains a challenge. Ultimately, the food quality shines, but improvements in service efficiency could elevate the overall experience.

Food was delicious if you are willing to wait. My gf and I had a bad experience the 1st time we visited on date night but decided to come back again. Food was amazing and delicious but can use some refinement as far as presentation. Servers here don't have much character and are always running around. They seem to be scattered around with tables in different sections. The Hurricane is worth the for a strong drink, crab cakes and swordfish with collards was my fave!

When things went awry with another establishment, we decided to try Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen. Dinner started out rough when we were told that we couldn't be seated since we did not have a reservation. Dining hall was empty with plenty of open spots in the bar area. Started to walk out when staff had a change of heart and made space for our party of 5 in the bar. Started off with the raw oysters, which were some of the best the group has ever had. Moved on to the cooked oysters which were okay. Group would have preferred another round of raw. For the main meals, ordered up the catch of the day, swordfish, mutton snapper, then a salmon, fish platter, gumbo and scallops. Catch of the day fish was by far the best, followed by the scallops, salmon and gumbo. For dessert, went with the Key Lime Pie, peach bread pudding, coconut cream white cake. With the key lime pie taking top honors followed by the bread pudding. Will definitely return when I'm back in Winter Park.

Was taken here for my birthday. Overall, wonderful experience. Appetizer clams were tasty, pecan crusted fish was delicious. Service was excellent. I did not care for the carrot cake as it tasted more like orange peel cake but other than that it was am enjoyable experience of culinary cuisine.

Very good food we ordered the fried tomatoes app (it was amazing), dozen oysters (definitely recommend) and the Grouper Ceviche (which was very good too)! I ordered the whole yellowtail at market price and it was very nicely done! It was battered and fried nicely and the inside was very tender. My husband ordered the fish BLT sandwich and was not impressed, but all of the other foods were yummy the drinks were good, but nothing too surprising or stellar there. Service was attentive; but we were there early on a Friday just after they opened!

I really enjoy coming here. The vibes/decor are a bit stuffy but overall a really good neighborhood spot with fresh seafood and a really great happy hour! They have an extensive list of oysters which was super impressive. I’ve had the Shrimp po’boys, bang bang shrimp, key lime pie, all really good! Service was great! Everyone is friendly and the manager is always around. My server was Cici* she was awesome, gave us really good recommendations and was beyond attentive. Definitely going back for brunch!
