El Pueblo Mexican Grocery - Winter Park

I happened upon this amazing little restaurant today! When opening the door, I was surprised to find the restaurant so beautifully decorated! Every table is painted in colorful scenes of Mexico, and the booth backs are little dioramas. The walls are covered with Aztec art and other artifacts. It was very busy but the service was still great! They have fresh fruit juices, I had the melon one and it was tasty and refreshing. The pechuga de pollo was perfectly cooked and served with a side of fresh corn tortillas. I highly recommend it!

The food was so well-seasoned and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I had ordered fajitas and the chicken, beef, and shrimp were so savory, the fajitas required no additional seasoning or condiments of any kind. No sour cream, no salsa, it was perfectly divine just the way it came on the plate. I’m pretty certain the guacamole is made at the precise moment it is ordered. We had ordered one portion and upon tasting the guacamole, we immediately ordered two more! Absolutely scrumptious! I’ve been to several Mexican dining places in the area, and this one is by far my favorite one. Even the tortilla chips taste like they’re home-made and not bought from a store. I was so impressed by this culinary euphoria that I’m actually awarding it five stars. I’ve never even bothered to rate most of the other places I’ve eaten before, so that should tell you something. Oh, and for those of us who like natural juices, they squeeze and make their own! I remember pineapple and melon. Highly recommend!

I'm originally from Texas, and I don't know if I'm a little home sick or what, but this little gem is exactly that, a gem! I ordered an Horchata, and the lady brought me a mini pitcher of the tastiest horchata I've had in a really really long time....real horchata not no powdered stuff, also ordered the Milanesa de Res and omg, bomb! Definitely worth stopping by. Personally I enjoyed the whole experience, it's a small little place, only like maybe 8 to 10 -4 per lil booths, but the place was so brightly colorful, filled with authenticity that made me feel like back home. Great job....Definitely found my new favorite spot in winter park

Wow .... Finally found some authentic Mexican food at a little spot in winter park. The sopas , gorditas ,tacos and the flautas we're so good , well everything we had was incredible. We will be back.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today. I ordered the chicken tacos and guacamole w/chips about DoorDash for my virtual team lunch today and let me just say this was the best Mexican food I had for years! These chicken tacos were so spiced and so authentic omg!!! ? I destroyed two of the Tacos and the Guacamole on the camera without shame! The tacos came with two different sauces, a mild and a very spicy one. I mixed them up because the Spicy definitely had some warmth! The guacamole was so fresh and oh so good! It was also a good part for the money and very fill. I have lived in the area for almost 10 years and have probably passed this restaurant many times and had no idea what I miss, but I will definitely be back. I really look forward to eating for the next time for the full experience!
