Please pay no attention to Martita's review, being someone who has clearly never worked in food service a day in her life, she was looking for nothing other than to cause a scene the moment she walked through the doors. I have had nothing but incredibly positive interactions with Chewy Boba and all of their amazing staff. The employee in question has been nothing but kind and welcoming to my friends and I, having onl... View all feedback.
What Desi P doesn't like about Chewy Boba:
Definitely not as fun and vibrant as it used to be. This location includes Japan go now. They painted every wall (and a fake ivy detail) in black so the overall feel is, well, dark. We walked in and 2 people seemed to have been served. We waited about 3 minutes before someone came in from outside to take our orders. I was confused by this because there were definitely people working in the back but no one bothered to... View all feedback.
The boba was outstanding, and the staff member was very helpful in answering my questions about the yogurt bursting boba. I tried it with the honeydew milk tea, and it was delicious! We also ordered a drink with the regular boba, and it was fantastic as well—soft and perfectly chewy, not tough at all.
I took my granddaughter and her two friends because they all wanted to try some boba. My granddaughter ordered a pineapple slushy with strawberry popping bubbles, while the other two girls chose slushies with chewy boba. They really enjoyed their drinks and are looking forward to going back again. I'm sure we will visit again soon. The staff was very patient with the girls as they made their decisions!
I always enjoy visiting this restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, and each person brings something unique to the experience. They are very helpful and do a great job of suggesting alternatives when a dish is unavailable. I've been here nine times since I moved to the area in February, and I plan to keep coming back!
I love it here. It's the closest boba place to me with tasty boba. I love to get my taro blended. There is no cheese foam here. Sometime they are out of really popular flavor and there is a bit of a wait even when it's empty. But it's in a location by game/comic shops so try it out.

We walked in and 2 people seemed to have been served. We waited about 3 minutes before someone came in from outside to take our orders. I was confused by this because there were definitely people working in the back but no one bothered to even pop out and say they'd be out soon. Got a passion fruit slush drink. It was good. $5. They don't do POG anymore. Sad. Probably won't be back for Boba, though. There's at least 3 other spots in walking distance to here with better service. Might try Japan go but would take to go or eat outside of the black room.
