Man I can 't believe I 've never left a review of Aloma Cinema Grill! I haven 't been here in at least 10 years, but I 'm going to start coming again more often. This place has been here since the late '70s I think and they 've kept it nice and touched it up over the years. What K M doesn't like about Aloma Cinema Grill:
While the ticket prices are really good… Our server James M made this a very disappointing experience. Despite being on of the first table seated he appeared to make it a point to not take our order. We watched as he went from table to table all around us and would just walk past and skip us. To top it all off we didn’t get our full order .. points for not charging us for the missing items. The food.. ABSOLUTELY DISG... View all feedback.
This has been one of my favorite spots for watching movies for quite some time, but I never felt the need to write a review until now—even though I haven't actually seen the movie yet! We had a ticket issue, so I went to the box office earlier in the day to see if I could sort it out before the show. I explained the situation to Brantley, who handled everything with great skill and efficiency. I couldn't find any better way to express my appreciation for his service than by writing this review. Thank you, Brantley!
I can't believe I've never written a review for Aloma Cinema Grill! It's been at least a decade since I last visited, but I'm definitely planning to come back more often. This place has been around since the late '70s, and they've done a great job maintaining and updating it over the years. The ticket prices are half of what you'd pay at corporate theaters, the food is better with larger portions, and the staff is incredibly friendly. While they may not have reclining seats or RPX, they offer a cozy, family-owned atmosphere along with modern movies. Overall, it's a much more enjoyable experience compared to the chaos and high prices of the larger theaters. In the past, dining movie theaters may have seemed more expensive, but nowadays, that's definitely not the case.
This restaurant has a warm, hometown vibe and offers very affordable prices compared to other theaters, including its food options. I received quick service, and honestly, I think I’ll always choose this place for movie outings with my little one. The table arrangements are perfect, allowing active children to move around without bothering others.
This place has so much potential but is obviously poorly ran and un organized. When we got to our seats it took about 45 minutes for someone to take our order and then another hour for us to get just our drinks.I understand being busy so tried not to be too upset about it. Then when I asked for a water they said they have a self serve station outside the theater. Although I think that is terrible customer service I went anyways. NO CUPSThey don’t have a kids size pizza so we decided to order a large one. When we received it the order was completely wrong. We didn’t mention it to our server because she never came back and after a long wait we were so hungry. All in all, this place is poorly ran. I don’t blame the staff but I do blame management
My family and I have been going here for years and it has gone considerably downhill in the last few years. They are incredibly short staffed and oversell their theaters for their capabilities. At my most recent visit, our table did not even get our food until an hour and forty five minutes into a two and a half hour movie and our order wasn’t even correct. There were other tables who actually cancelled orders because they weren’t brought out timely. I can empathize with staffing issues, but this is not a fair set up for their patrons or their (limited) staff.
