This place was a big disappoint... read more To start, I didn 't want to judge a book by it 's cover. I love the hole in the wall type gems with great food and good service. This place was a big disappointment. You expect a proper BBQ restaurant to have fresh juicy proteins and top notch sides. I had the pulled pork, chicken and ribs to test all of it out. The chicken was dry as a desert, and not at all flavorful or seasoned well. The ribs and pork were similar. Also the food is not fresh, or even freshly made. Nobody was cooking, they served from precooked trays behind the counter. I have an iron stomach and developed a pretty bad stomach ache 10 minutes after leaving. The mac and cheese and potato salad were also bland. They do have good BBQ sauces. One of the guys working there was friendly, though they both were sitting at the dining tables when we came in, and sat there throughout our meal. When I left I was the one who said goodbye. I went there expecting a bar of some kind or a beer, but was sadly mistaken being that they no longer serve alcohol even though the word bar is the epicenter of their title. I 've been to over a hundred BBQ joints all over the country, they need to do better if they want to survive.

For example last time I went they had tur... read more Great BBQ Not only is the food good, but the staff are awesome, and they usually have something special off the menu. For example last time I went they had turkey legs the size of a Buick regal, Brisket, baby back's, and beef ribs worthy of a Flintstone's intro. Sides are great too... Highly recommend

I have to say, this place is amazing for the price! I ordered the quarter ribs and the pork plate with coleslaw and green beans, and everything was delicious!!! The portions were huge, and the food was clearly cooked with care. Maybe it was tough love, but it was definitely love! The atmosphere is calm, and the person working behind the counter isn’t very chatty, but he is direct and polite. I didn’t expect to find a tea room with a Disney vibe. I came for good food, and I got it! I will definitely return when I’m in the area.
