Howard Johnson By Wyndham Winter Haven Fl

This hotel has undergone some updates. The rooms are decent, but it does not meet the standards of the Wyndham brand. It appears that some people may be living at the hotel. The hallways leading to the rooms are uncomfortably warm. The complimentary breakfast is disappointing, consisting of bananas, Walmart yogurt, and a pancake machine. There is very low water pressure in the shower. The location of the hotel is a bit questionable. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay while visiting Lego Land with a 2-day pass. The pool was great for kids to enjoy. Although the breakfast wasn't amazing, it was sufficient. The hot water didn't last very long, but overall we would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The room smelled horribly. Like mold and sewage. The blankets were filthy, as were the floors and the bathroom. We were booked for 2 nights and only stayed one. We couldn't even shower because of how horrible the smell of mold was and how dirty the bathroom floor was. We didn't even have a holder for our toilet paper because there was a big hole on the side of the vanity. The front desk staff was pleasant. We did not continue our stay in room 130 because we felt physically ill in the morning after the first night. This room should probably be reported to the health department. Literally just left here. Pd for 3 nights, drove 7 hrs for my husband to visit family he hasn't seen in a while. Got there unpacked got our dogs settled in and went and visited his cousin. Got back, got ready for bed, and there were 3 bedbugs in the sheet moving and one on my hand! I should have known better when they tried to put us in a mold room at first. On our way back, 7 hrs to home to wash our stuff because no other places let you have dogs. The only other one was sold out. Tried talking to a manager, and the lady told us we had to wait until tomorrow and tried to give us another room. No, thank you. I'd rather sleep in my vehicle at a truck stop. ? 14 hours of driving and money wasted. Definitely don't recommend this place.

The room looked clean but it wasn't. I spilled a cleared liquid and went to clean it up and the floor was so dirty that I could not get the white wash cloth cleaned. I also got some hair on the bed spread and tried to clean that and the wash cloth was even worse. I was under the impression that after every guest that the rooms were whipped down, especially after COVID requirements, and most of all that the floors were mopped and cleaned. Hopefully we don't get COVID after our stay. Otherwise the place looked really good.
