Springtime seems to be the “find a diner” time for me – with homey, comfortable, casual dining – and not a pocketbook killer! This is another one I’ve passed for years, coming up US 17 from Bartow to Winter Haven. I’ve always seen lots of cars – but it’s a good sized parking lot and seems to be a draw for locals and travelers. The food is simple, good, not real expensive and the service was good.
