Big Bear Lodge - Winter

We dined on the deck and absolutely adored the view. The food was quite good, though the prices were a bit steep. However, given that it's the only place around, it’s understandable. The service was prompt, and our server was friendly. We also took the opportunity to buy some firewood since we were staying at LOTP Flambeau.

Staff was very friendly and funny, had a great atmosphere. Food and drink were delicious. I am obsessed with French onion soup and it was some of the best that I have ever had! And the **** mary was on point!

Food was excellent,but when we first walked in,the bartender looked at us with no acknowledgement,we stood there for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us.Teach your staff to be friendly when someone walks in,even if they can't get to us right away.

Very poor meal. Had shrimp. It was obviously dumped frozen from a bag into a fryer and overcooked. No prep. No taste. Place sure has gone downhill !

I can’t express how wonderful my dinner was at Big Bear, and the staff is exceptional! Our server, Kaylee, was absolutely amazing! The place is incredibly clean, the atmosphere is friendly, and the food is delicious. Thank you, Kaylee and Big Bear!
