I would usually breakdown what I ate but real home cooking is home cooking whether everything is done from scratch or majority. I have actually fell in love with their grits as a first timer so you can say love at first taste?? And love at first bite would be the biscuit...of which love at first bite sounds kind of vampire-ish. The food comforting for sure sure.

Disappointing places like this seem to thrive despite serving bland and poorly put together food.

The food was good standard diner fare and an improvement over the last time I visited the old Cagney 's next door. Their fried okra and fried squash is much improved. Same menu, but better quality food.
