Nice, clean suites. Very simple but perfect for a night or a few. The pool is great! 9 feet and they maintain it. Great views of the city if you 're up high and facing that direction. Close to WFBH. Great for out-of-towners having to go to that hospital. Walking distance to downtown and great restaurants. Staff friendly and accommodating.The only complaint we would have made was the breakfast. . The worst and first experience ever. I will never stay at the hotel again. The rooms smelled horribly. The sheets was stiff and starchy. The floors was dirty and mushy, the curtains was filthy. It’s was horrible just looking at the room. The pictures are deceiving on the website. After a few hours at the hotel I left in the middle of the night and will not recommend this to anyone. However, our only complaint would be the breakfast. We recommend planning to eat somewhere else, as the bagels and muffins were so stale that they wouldn't even toast properly. There was also no cereal available for a quick grab before heading out on the road.
Fantastic location, conveniently situated near everything downtown. The hotel is always clean and well-maintained. The rooms are consistently tidy and the beds are quite comfortable. We have stayed here before, but on this visit, the air conditioning in our room broke down on the second night, necessitating a move to another room. Although it was inconvenient to change rooms, the hotel staff was very accommodating and even upgraded us. The new room's air conditioning wasn't turned on, so it took quite a while to cool down, especially since the room was more like a small studio apartment. Despite this, we still enjoyed our night and our overall stay. The pool is fantastic, with a nice size and a lovely pool deck furnished with tables. We really love this hotel and its location, and we look forward to returning!
Safety: The accessible bathroom wasn’t truly accessible; the tub/shower setup caused me to injure my back because the safety bars were positioned too low. Food and drinks: The continental breakfast was terrible—I've had better at Best Western. Noteworthy details: The maid service was fantastic; our room was cleaned and the beds were made every day.
Our power and Internet went out, due to strong weather storm. So we we to The Hawthorne Inn. This place has great accommodations along with continental breakfast. You can also request a breakfast to have a hot meal for $10.00. Nice place to stay in Winston Salem NC.Rooms: 5/5
I really don't know about the rooms. I wasn't there to stay the night. I was a vendor for an event that was hosted there. Things we needed, like a chair or table was available to us as requested with no issue. Staff we were around was very professional and pleasant. Bathrooms were very clean.Nearby activities: It in downtown Winston-Salem. It's place all within walking distance.Walkability: Lots of restaurants within walking distance
