Panera Bread - Winston-Salem

Every year we receive this for a work function. Every year I won't enjoy it, but every year I'm wrong. The food is always fresh and always delicious. Thank you, Panera.

Food is good, good recommendations I had Autumn Squash soup, just didn't care for the pumpkin seeds in it. They gave lots of bread it was cold and hard.

Good food but a little pricey. some crackhead came up to me and my boyfriend acting crazy and asking for money. The staff should have kicked him out.

I love Panera bread; however, this location (2209 Cloverdale) overcharged me, and when I asked, they just said that was the price. Double-check your cost. I was with a business client, so I did not persist in the inaccuracy.

Last time I was there a girl in pajama bottoms and Crocs was answering the phone and making jokes with coworkers while on her cell phone the entire time and customers were waiting. Some of the staff was new, I don't fault them. The manager or shift leader that night, was rude and leaning into her incompetence as she clearly doesn't know how to speak to customers effectively, appropriately or professionally. I've been to this restaurant since they opened and had some ups downs but this the most appalling of my visits. 50% of the people there were great, the other half, shouldn't be working as they obviously don't want to do the job right. Trim the fat or keep the doors closed. This shouldn't be the experience you come to expect from a chain.
