I give this place 5 stars! I found them online while I was in Winston for a conference. Breakfast at the hotel was $15 and I couldn't afford to do that for 3 mornings. The service at Murphy was fast and the food was great! Every morning I ordered 2 pancakes with bacon and agitator. It was just over $5. I love this place! I was so broken a heart when I thought that COVID got the best of this little business, but they're back on and running and didn't skip a beat. Fried porkchops are still the best around, like everything else on the hot bar. They are packed in lunchtime, but get through quickly. Great portions for the money.
Absolutely delicious – glad to see you again in the store! Recommend the Yankee Pot Roast or the Pork Chop Skillet.
Murphys is a jewel of Winston-Salem. Everything I look for in a place to eat.
I was staying at the Marriott Winston-Salem and was looking for a place to get breakfast outside the hotel. I found this place and to my surprise it was only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. I tried it and was very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was phenomenal and the prices are very reasonable. If you are in Winston-salem and looking for a good place to get breakfast, come here. You can't go wrong.
I have wanted to try Murphy’s for a while now and it did not disappoint! They have a hot bar, breakfast, and ice cream( what more could you ask for?! . Food and service were amazing. Can’t wait to come back!
