May Way Dumplings - Winston-Salem

I wouldn't give five stars, but I tried. this place is amazing. I live in brooklyn and come to winston to visit my family all couple months. here they can't find quality food here. the noodles, noodles and bubbles are great.

I have a soup meat allergy and as a result, my partner and I ordered a vegetarian dish for me and a roasted pork dish for him at this restaurant. However, we were served a pork dish instead of the veggie one I had ordered. Luckily, I realized it wasn't vegetarian before taking a bite and avoided a potentially dangerous situation. It's important for the restaurant to make sure they are serving the correct dishes to customers with dietary restrictions. I have also ordered a non-dairy drink in the past, but was informed they no longer have it available, making me question the consistency of their menu offerings.

Have vegan Bao beans, they were pretty good. but the load is very small and they feel very cramped.

I'm grateful to have this place because winston doesn't have many options, but eating is just okay. more options would be nice. I had all the vegan options and I just felt that they were in order.

Maybe the noodle salads are good, but personally I like hot noodles better and they only offered cold. I got the veggie bun, it came with just one, I thought it would’ve at least come with two. And it wasn’t that great. I used to love dim sum and I got something like that before i was vegan, so I was excited to try it but it kinda disappointed me. I still think it’s worth going and trying out..maybe I’ll go back one day and change my review if I have a better experience
