The atmosphere was on the spot for a steak restaurant. Customer service was very good. I don't eat steak anymore, but I ate Ribeye this day and it was the best I ever had! What Domenick Mraz doesn't like about Firebirds Wood Fired Grill:
I honestly think this place is overrated. I give it a 6.5/10. The atmosphere was nice and chill. So we ordered Lobster Spinach dip 8/10, Shrimp with Cajun Butter 5/10. The Shrimp was over cooked. A blind man could see that. I never chewed shrimp for so long. Lol but the flavor was decent! Mashed potatoes were light and buttery 9/10. My Sirloin Steak was ordered medium well. It was okay and more like well done. Not th... View all feedback.

Food was okay. Steak was a little dry. The mashed potatoes were my favorite though. Really good selection of drinks and different cocktails. But our server just seemed off. Looked at me like I had 4 heads when I asked kindly for some more water. Seemed more interested in other tables with larger parties. Had high hopes from looking on the outside and left with a just meh experience. I would like to go back and hopefully get a better experience especially when you?re paying 100 bucks for a meal.
Firebirds is a nice, cozy and consistently good restaurant chain with locations that seem everywhere. This location in Winston Salem is no different. The food is always good with many options for picky eater. All from burgers and steaks to hot soups and sandwiches are offered here with quality. The atmosphere is one of my favorites for chain operation and has a very comfortable atmosphere. A few suggestions to try here are the Black Bean Soup, the Jalapeno deviled Eggs, and the Grilled Fish Tacos. The prices are not super cheap, but you get what you pay for here.
Very good setup. Customer service was very good and the prices are also good. Food was excellent. Ribs are very tasty together with the loaded baked potato. Atmosphere is good. Great vibes. It was said it will be crowded weekend nights so reservations is likely necessary. Drinks were good. Overall, I say that this place is above average. They offer many choices and a wide range of products on the menu. I would definitely come back to try other things.
Beautiful brick development. For the first time go@2:00 Women's bathroom was empty from fabric in all stands. No one obviously did bathing duties from the night before. The bathroom smells like it wasn't cleaned. Too early a day for tissue and to be unclean. The operations were ridiculous. We've never been asked if we wanted anything. We ordered steak, burgers, pommes - which require many people's condiments. The table with us had to ask for steak sauce. This made the server harder. And when he brought them out, they were in plastic cups. It wasn't an upscale presentation. The server brought us water. Several glasses were dirty with things floating in the water. We had to ask for straws and new water. Kellner ran around because our table and the other always needed items that he could not bring, or the standard operations not easy to use. Sweat as crazy! He was done. The food was okay. My older niece ordered the devil's appetizer, and they left 4 of them untouched because they were disgusting. I had much better food and service to pay at prices. You calculate a bliss of your bill. This guy made at least $50 from our table, he only earned about $20 for his service. I am very UNHAPPY with the experience. I feel like we were robbed, with literally 20% of the bill as a tip for terrible service. It's unfair and dishonest. I should say what I feel is fair trade. We have to be refunded. I always mentioned it on the server. I also told the hostess about the toilets when I saw the problems. Nobody ever came to talk to me about what I complained about. This place wants to be a 5 STAR restaurant, they need more management integration and correct problems that are presented. Management must check on tables to see if people have a great experience. This is what an upscale restaurant next to moderate. This place lacks many raised aspects. If they are lacking in these areas, they should not demand that they be lifted. Absolutely, terrible. The only good experience in this place was my family. We eat in better restaurants all over the country. Firebirds is not this place for 100% exquisite food.
