A storm had sent people to the house shortly before our arrival, so the waiting time for the food was somewhat longer than usual. The waiting staff we had was friendly and efficient. What User doesn't like about The Golden Frog:
First time going. Food was good. Service not the best. She had an attitude and didn't even want to get my friend some blue cheese. Definitely not the fanciest. Served us our food in baskets and plates were Styrofoam. Someone don't wanna deal with dishes I guess. Pretty slow service even though there was only like 1 or 2 other tables of customers. Had an explosion at the Golden Frog last weekend! Staff and customers were fun, the drinks and food were great and the price was very reasonable. If you visit Fountain City, you will not regret this place. Oh and on this note, do not disturb to go the monarch, they on a more advanced clientele and the owner has no problem to treat you rude if you do not fit the bill.

Nice bartender, good drinks and good choice on the pull tabs! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and in a great place next to the winery, grabbed some pizza here, which tasted quite well, had the buffalo bacon chicken.

In this place on recommendation during the stay in the cottages of Hawks View . It was not disappointed. Excellent clam chowder soup and friendly service. Large square

We had fish and shrimps and the meal was delicious and the service was dared good.
