The Edward and the team is out standing. You always feel at home. The daily special sheets are worth trying. The dailies and weekly are unique and very good. Recommend you phone ahead as this is a popular spot. Parking is tight but park on the street (read the parking signs). The kamikaze roll is a favourite. Try the new sparkle drinks. The fried banana desert is delicious. Note : Middle level sushi prices with high q... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Yujiro:
The food was good, but the service was exceptionally horrible. Had to ask for water after we were seated for 15 minutes. We then placed our order and received our food after a table that came in 10 minutes after us. Service was not prompt and of course the server did not come refill our water. Overall I won't be going back because of the extremely poor service. View all feedback.
Yujiro has better sushi than anywhere else. High quality fresh ingredients. Great flavours. I live in Vancouver and I have to say that none of the Japanese restaurants there stand up in comparison.
Visited with my friend like week before, if you wanna have the feeling of Japanese heritage you should definitely visit it. But it is little bit costly and don’t try vegetarian platter instead try anything else on menu Best part was mango ice-cream. Staff was amazing and super polite.
Went last week and it's still my favourite sushi place in the city. Consistently high-quality food. Delicious rolls, nigiri, noodles, etc. Great service, nice-sized restaurant.
Went to Winnipeg on my birthday for the weekend we did not plan ahead where to eat, just want to be spontaneous we decided to have sushi. We checked online to see which one had the best reviews saw Yujiro, we took chances because we did not have reservation but it was early so we had better chance. We got in, small restaurant outside downtown but it was clean, friendly staff. Everything we order in the menu was super good very very fresh. I think the best sushi Japanese restaurant in Winnipeg, we would go back for sure.
Very average food (both lunch box and the roll). Pretty pricey given the quality of the food. However, the ratings for their ramen seem better than their lunch box so I might come back to try their ramen and give an updated review but for now, 3 is pretty generous tbh. Service was fast tho.
