Was Anonym at Yujiro a mag?
The Edward and the team is out standing. You always feel at home. The daily special sheets are worth trying. The dailies and weekly are unique and very good. Recommend you phone ahead as this is a popular spot. Parking is tight but park on the street (read the parking signs). The kamikaze roll is a favourite. What Anonym dislikes about Yujiro:
The food was good, but the service was exceptionally horrible. Had to ask for water after we were seated for 15 minutes. We then placed our order and received our food after a table that came in 10 minutes after us. Service was not prompt and of course the server did not come refill our water. Overall I won't be going back because of the extremely poor service. View all feedback.

Moved to Winnipeg from Vancouver (i.e. the Sushi Capital of Canada) last year and was disappointed at the sushi options in the city until we tried Yujiro. Hands down the best sushi restaurant in Winnipeg and our go-to place when we want to treat ourselves. Sure it’s slightly more expensive than some other options; but remember you’re paying for a much higher quality meal. If all you cared about was getting a $3 roll you’d just go to the mall. But if you want great, authentic sushi, this is the place to go.

I didn't think it was possible but we had our best meal ever here tonight. The Hakone, Chiba and Spicy Sake Rolls off the specials menu were just fantastic! The service was excellent and attentive as always.
