Consistently good!. I have ordered take-out from Watta Sushi several times now, and it has never disappointed. The party platters are arranged beautifully and consist of an amazing variety of rolls with fresh ingredients (unlike many other places where the party platters are mainly deep-fried and cheap rolls . The owners are so friendly and my orders have always been ready on time. The prices are very reasonable, and... View all feedback.
What Kristen Holmes Lavery doesn't like about Watta Sushi Restaurant:
Picked up lunch from Watta today. Haven't had sushi from them for a few years, from what I remembered it was great ...today not so much. I ordered tuna goma ae, bakudan and a beach roll . The rolls were ok, but the goma ae was terrible. Don't know what kind of dressing was on it, but it was tasteless. I'll bring it home and put my own homemade sesame dressing on it so it's edible. This tiny place is conveniently located outside a large hospital. with only 2 small tables it is not intended for staying, but if they go, if it is less busy, they can get a place. they have a nice Bento box menu for...both lunch and dinner, with the usual favorite and some less available options like a roll covered with fresh avocado slices. Note: if they call forward an hour, they will get 10% off!
This tiny sushi restaurant probably gets most of its customers from the sick houses in the opposite, but I'm glad I stumbled on it. too small to really eat, but great for picking up! they have good quality eating at an affordable price, and I. give it to everyone who needs a sushi filling! I will order from there again!
After a week bad sick hospital almost food in a dirty cafeteria I stumbled outside and found watta sushi. Many thanks, Jesus-joseph-mary-and-all-the-baby fishing! it's a tiny hole-in-the-wall with only 2 tables, and I don't know if it has a liqueur license, but this is the type of sushi that I would drive for miles to pick up a job. I had the usual, about a few visits) thunfisch and lachs sashimi, cali roll, rainbow roll, garnelen tempo once, agadashi tofu, seealtar, etc. everything was fresh and tasty. there is a generous filling-to-creuz ratio, the presentation was excellent, it is really crab not the other things, and in the did is the best sushi that I had so far in winnipeg. the sashimi- thick, generous slices,...and not tasted before frozen or blanching and tasty to be swollen in water. my mouth jumped up and shouted hallelujah at the first morsel of the salmonashimi. the garnelentempura was perfect, large, not greasy or exaggerated. I'm dreaming about this. Apparently they make rare deliveries, and it's not really all they want to do a sit-down. I didn't try anything from their underwriting courts, but I can't imagine they're less excellent than the dishes I've eaten. sushi and sashimi lovers. Do not miss this little place!
Ordered skipthedishes with this restaurant for an office lunch. Large platter of maki and a few extra rolls for 6 people, that fed 6 people perfectly. The large platter could feed 5 people just fine too.<br/ <br/ I am usually a single ingredient sushi eater, but the platter included a lot of fusion rolls that I typically do not like. However I did enjoy everything I ate despite it not being what I usually like. So that has to say something.<br/ <br/ The roll sizes seemed to be on the larger side for the given price, so there is a bit of a value add to this place compared to others.
I always order the Takoyaki, I find it to be the best in the whole city ...<br/ I randomly order sushi rolls whenever im in the area but tonight I ordered the watta roll and oh my goodness I fell in love with this roll, all the flavours exploded together just right!!<br/ I'll be sure to share this experience with many of my sushi loving friends,<br/ staff is always nice to me
