Loved it here! Has a fun Irish pub look, live music and great service.
The food is great and the portions are substantial. The live music is also fantastic ?
Yeah the hype is real, a perfect whiskey sour(well about 3 ? and a lovely poutine.The staff are quick and friendly, great people at the bar, well put together layout. Clean, interesting, good view points for the band if you are actively listening to the live music. The stools at the bar were a little short for me to eat, but bar stools aren't made to sit n eat, they're for drinking, that's on me!
The atmosphere is very reminiscent (read:authentic) of the quaint bars in Halifax, NS, where I grew up. The server was absolutely a delight, full of info, some anecdotes and he had fantastic cheer. We had a couple of different and excellent IPAs between us, and split an order of fish and chips, which was cooked perfectly and tasted great.
Nice local pub. My friend had the smoked meat sandwich which he loved. My burger, however, was the opposite small and overcooked to the point of being burnt. The fries were great. The service was
