I am a regular here and have never had a bad experience. One of my go-to favourites on the menu is the Ale & Cheese Dip. It's super tasty and generously sized for the price. Service is always friendly! I stay in the hotel whenever me and friends decide to drink. Extremely close and I always have a great time :) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Thirsty Lion Tavern:
The atmosphere here could be great. Still the place was dang near empty, the gals working here were friendly but, some seemed to be distracted by social media although my waitress was attentive and pleasant. The IPA tasted like Wimpey's Lite beer so either the local IPA is wimpy, or, the staff at the Thirsty Lion slipped me a lite, charging for an IPA. I've always enjoyed coming by the Thirsty Lion Tavern. The food and staff are amazing. Definitely one of my favourite spots to stop by for patio drinks and a couple of my favourite appetizers. I would suggest you trying the Mini Yorkies if you haven't yet! Will definitely be coming back
Food was awesome, the wing deal was a great value for the price on thursday. Servers were very prompt and friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. The atmosphere was open and inviting
Had a great time here! Our server was Kaileigh and she was awesome! We went for the BOGO Appetizer and some drinks. I also enjoy using the pool tables. Would recommend this place for sure. will be back!
Went here for dinner with my family and ordered the Irish Nachos to start and the mozza burger with fries as my meal. Irish Nachos were HUGE! Definitely made to share. Burger was delicious, definitely satisfied my craving. Our server was Natasha who was super sweet. For sure would recommend going here!!
Man I love going to the Lion for some food and drinks. I would try the Ale Cheese Dip, it's amazing. yum : they also have a great staff that are always willing to go out of there way to make you happy
