This place is fantastic! I've been going for years. I go there all the time on my lunch hour. The staff/owners are always wonderful! The food is soo flavorful and always delicious. I've only had their shawarma and falafel, never their calzones or anything. But what I've had is incredibly tasty. You have to go! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sultan's Shawarma:
Food was not that flavourful, and all the plates were made of sytrofoam. Meal was mostly rice and pita seemed stale. Was pricey ($13) given the quality. I won't be back. View all feedback.
I find this restaurant to be quite delicious and enjoyable. The meats, toppings, and pitas always taste very fresh. The decor is simple but cozy. It may be helpful to order through Skip the Dishes since the staff's English is limited to ensure you receive exactly what you want.
I absolutely love the chicken shawarma platter at this restaurant! I have tried many places in the city, but this is definitely my favorite. The rice is so tasty and the chicken is always cooked perfectly.
First time here. Ordered the chicken shawarma extra spicy for takeout. Delicious and the right amount of spice. Would definitely return and try the other menu items.
Been here dozens of times now, as a student this place is cheap, convenient and delicious. Seriously underrated place compared to other shawarma spots in the city. Food is always fresh, the portion sizes are generous and the staff are very friendly. Come check this place out if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed!
One of the pleasures of living in the Spence neighbourhood is that there are so many dining choices close by. As the neighbourhood is so diverse, there are also a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. I’m a big fan of shawarma, and there are two places within a few blocks of each other. Shawarma Time at the corner of Ellice and Sherbrook, and Sultan’s Shawarma, just a few blocks east towards the University of Winnipeg.
