Despite being a vegetarian I was well taken care of at Smith. The cheeses were fantastic and the quinoa dish was very flavorful. The service was also above par on both occasions where I dined there, once with a large group and once with a small group. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Smith Restaurant:
We were the only people eating in the bar at 4:30 this past Sunday. The service was very attentive... and our server offered several good suggestions for drinks and dinner. Unfortunately the kitchen apparently wasn't as detail conscious. I ordered the pickerel ... which I have often suggested to business colleagues when I recommend staying at the Inn at the Forks. We went for our 6th anniversary. Food was top notch.Service, excellent.Ambiance lush, fancy, luxurious….Even had live music. Beautiful environment.Hands down, best tuna I’ve ever had. Hubby said best steak he’s ever had.Expensive. But worth it for special occasions.
Food was good, but took just shy of an hour to be served.
Although this restaurant is sitting inside a very beautiful hotel, I don't think the pretentious and snobby attitude of the staff, and particularly the hostess, matches the quality of the space. Every time I come into the dining room for dinner as a guest of the hotel, I'm always placed at the bar...even though the rest of the restaurant is open and available. And yes, they do tell me that's all that's available. The brunch is quite good, I do recommend the eggs benedict, but this is not a place for a casual dining experience.
Watermelon Fizz was yummy and served in a crystal glass! ?Salad and chicken were a reasonable choice for a light meal at the bar.Bartenders were friendly and mindful.Our Jazz trio added a nostalgic and soulful vibe to the eclectic/industrial feel of this local venue.Go every Wednesday for jazz and live music on the weekend.
Well second time we got served a regular bun despite requesting gluten free. Then it took an hour and 10 min to get the second burger now the other food is cold while we sit. No apologies. Super poor service, very long wait times. Don’t go there are far better patios and places that provide quality service!!
