Silver Heights Restaurant and Lounge

The Silver Heights has a great atmosphere and is loaded with TVs in the bar area. We passed on the Tuesday special of 2 for 1 meals (a good deal for sure!) and went for wings. At least that is what they were listed on in the menu. We got these teeny tiny little things. Many places advertise wings by the pound, given the size of these they would have needed 38 or so! Tasty? yes, well cooked? Yes. Excruciatingly small? Definitely yes!No IPA on tap either. Aargh.

Visited the restaurant with family the other day and for the prices they charge I do not get the popularity.My prime rib was slightly more than medium (I ordered medium rare) the baked potato was...... a baked potato, and i dont even remember what the veggies were. Service was friendly, but inattentive.I didnt choose the restaurant and followed the crowd. next time i will be more vocal with my objections

My wife and I had met one of the owners of this restaurant,while we were on vacation in Mexico.We had told them we had never been their as it was at least 40 miles away from wheir we live.He told us that we should come and try the best ribs in Winnipeg,and that they were celebrating 60 years on June3rd.2017, we both ordered the half rack of ribs which came with wild rice and a side vegtable ,my wife had a glass of red wine ARGENTINE Malbec I had two low alcohol beers., the place was packed yet we were served our dinner within 15min,ribs were excellent.

I went here on a Thursday evening for dinnerI had the haddock fish and chips.

Friends kept telling us to try it as they said it was greatThat was not our experienceWe had a reservation for the dining room.
