Salisbury House (garden City)

The first time in 3 years. everyone was so friendly, even the other customers, I think we were all happy to be outside. the personal friendly profi and eating was great! the vouchers were an additional bonus as there is an affordable time out. recommend salsbury house on leila.

My son and his future father-in-law for Sunday brunch. it was busy, but we sat pretty fast. the server quickly took our drunk orders. Once she took our food orders, she was nowhere in sight. for about twenty minutes we didn't see how the food went out of the kitchen, which was right in our line of descent. When the food came, it was warm. we were starved so we could eat. the food was good and the quantities were great.

I took my family to lunch today and last time. when we arrived, it was quite busy so that we were aware that it would wait a bit longer, but we waited for an hour for our food, again it is a thing when this is because they are busy, but tables that were long after us were already getting their food, eating and leaving. I could see that a part of our order sits back under the warm for 15 minutes before the server finally caught him. not even our server. when eating was brought to us, all eating was cold and when we told our server that it is most likely cold because we saw it there for 15 minutes before she said that “it was not so long”, offered no excuse, solution, nothing. after that, she completely avoided us and our section and other employees come to serve her and stand out for the counter and show us. our two children went through their whole meal without drinks, because they refused to check us out, provided out of embarrassment. it was an AWFUL experience and we will never be again.

Eating was not so great, the gravy was old and lumpy. the service was really the worst I experienced. it took almost 45 minutes to get our food and the place was not busy. this is the second time with a bad experience at this place and we will not return.

I worked at this place when it was still on McPhillips and Leila and open 24/7. Five and a half years of my life. Still have flashbacks and nightmares about working the night shift. That being said, they make some of the best burgers in the city and the Sals sauce is great as always.So in summary: clean place, good service, good food, still traumatized. Would eat here again.
