We went to the one on Henderson a couple of days ago and I had the worst beef dip, could not eat it there was 1/4 inch of elderly grease floating on the top of the dipping juice and some had spilled onto the plate and ruined the bun. They asked how every thing was and I said terrible, the reply was I'll get your bill for you. Hubby had a chilly nip and it looked like it was thrown onto the plate chilly only on a smal... I've lived here most of my life and for as long as i can remember coming to this location on Henderson has meet my needs..breakfast. lunch or dinner iv e experienced it..ya sure iv e had a couple of bad visits everyone has a bad day ..but..honestly most of my visits have been awesome. .the food..service and atmosphere have been spot on...I've been wanting to say this for quite some time..so here it is..i even took a pic of my double cheese nip platter with the most delicious beer batter onion rings and some side Chilli i put on my self..yum yum..thanku Sals keep up the great work
Great breakfast. I like coming here because it is not that busy, the breakfast is fast and very fair in price, and the staff are extremely friendly. It is simple. You come in, get what you pay for and more, and leave. You feel like you got your moneys worth, were treated with respect by the staff, and you also feel full of course as the breakfasts are good size. I like going to other restaurants like Stellas too... but I often find they are busy, expensive, and can be a little too much when you just feel like looking average and having a greasy good diner breakfast. If you want to just go to eat breakfast without breaking the bank and having to dress up, then this is the place.
Service is good and Food is good. Keep in mind it is 'diner ' fare so has to be judged against that. Decor needs updating, as in compleatly redone. I worked there in 92 and it was pretty much the same then.
Food is good. Service is usually good. Tables do not accommodate 5 or more people
