Had to kill time in the airport while waiting to check in at my hotel so I decided to grab some breakfast at Root 98. I was very impressed with the reasonable prices first off. The food was very good, far and away the best 'airport food ' I 've had in years, and my server, Mina, was delightful and professional. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CA$20–30
Given their promotion of herb and seed-inspired dishes, I was expecting homemade soup and fresh bread. Unfortunately, what I received was canned soup and store-bought white bread. The service was also quite disappointing.
Got the burger with Caesar salad and calamari. Surprisingly all 3 things have been very tasty, better than in the Keg or The Cactus Club or similar locations Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Could not eat anything, disgusting smell coming from the BUN of my burger, like years old shoes....yuk
Delicious Really nice presentation of food. Menu had a nice variety of breakfast/lunch/dinner and even a selection of asian cuisine. I had the nasi goreng (indonesian style dish) and it was tasty!
