Very friendly staff. Nice small restaurant. Was full when we went on a Tuesday night. Meals are very good and of larger portions. Meals are well priced. I also liked the little things like leaving a water pitcher at the table and bringing silverware and chopsticks. View all feedback.
What Armando Russo doesn't like about Nhuy Restaurant:
I got the (chicken and quail egg) pho, the salad rolls and the vermicelli bowl. The bowl was odd - big chunks of carrrot and celery and no cucumber, and the spring rolls were soggy. The oho Roth was clear and tasteless, and there weren't any herbs in the salad rolls or soup. Too bad, I was excited to have this place in the neighbourhood. Maybe food is better ordered in than taken away (?) View all feedback.
**we've only eaten breakfast here** This is one of our favorite places for breakfast, hands down.
Don't try to use the check-in coupon for free onion ringsI didn't find out until I had to pay the bill.
*This is a review of their breakfast* I used to come here almost weekly to study and have a nice breakfastI have had no issues at all.
Great food, and surprisingly cheap. The appetizer rolls and vermecilli dishes are both fantastic. Definitely worth checking this place out.
My husband, daughter and I went here tonight for supper. I had been previously, and it was pretty good, so I thought I'd take them here. BIG MISTAKE! Other than the spring rolls, our food was all awful. I got the pork and spring roll vermicelli bowl, my husband ordered the stir fried chicken and vegetables, my daughter ordered the Vietnamese sour soup. I got my dinner, and the pork was charred and burnt and tasted awful. About 15 minutes later, my husband got his food, which had only a small amount of chicken in it, and the only vegetables were carrots and a TON and I mean TON of celery, in a very insipid broth. Awful. Then another 10 minutes went by and my daughter got her soup. It was inedible. The broth was basically hot water with dried garlic powder sprinkled in it. And again, MORE celery! And mushy tomato chunks. A few measly shrimp and that was it. So we basically all got our food at separate times, so,we couldn't even eat together, and it went from bad to worse. I commented to my daughter that I felt like I'd just smoked a cigarette, after eating the pork. There you have it. Don't. Ever. Go. Here.
